1. The service
Authentic estimates how likely it is that a text was written with AI tools and reports technical traces found in files. It is provided by BAKHY. During the beta, the service is free and features may change.
2. Results are not proof
Results are statistical estimates with known error rates, described on our Accuracy section. You agree not to use a result as the sole basis for any academic, disciplinary or employment decision, and to give the author a chance to respond.
3. Your content
You keep all rights to what you submit. You confirm you have the right to submit it, including permission under your institution’s rules for student work. You grant us only the temporary right needed to process it and return a report.
4. Acceptable use
- Don’t upload content you have no right to share, or malware.
- Don’t try to overload, reverse-engineer or bypass limits of the service.
- Don’t use the service to develop tools that help others evade AI detection.
5. Plans and payment
Paid plans are not yet active. When they start, prices and billing terms will be shown before you pay, and beta users will be told in advance.
6. Availability and liability
The service is provided “as is”, without warranties of accuracy or availability. To the extent the law allows, BAKHY is not liable for decisions made using results, or for indirect losses.
7. Changes and termination
We may update these terms or suspend accounts that break them. Material changes will be announced on this page.
