Privacy Policy

Short version: we read your file in memory to make a report, then discard it. We don’t keep your documents, we don’t train on them, and we don’t sell data.

Who we are

Authentic is a service of BAKHY, operated by Bakhtiyar, reachable at bakhtiyaraj@code.edu.az.

What we process

• Files and text you submit. Used only to produce your report. Processed in memory by our analysis function and deleted when the response is sent. Not written to a database, not logged, not used for training.
• Technical data. Your IP address is held in memory for up to one hour to enforce the fair-use limit, then dropped. Our hosting providers (Vercel and Supabase) keep standard server logs for security.
• Preferences. If you allow it, your browser stores your cookie choices and checker settings locally. See the Cookie Policy.

What we don’t do

• No advertising or cross-site tracking.
• No sale or sharing of personal data.
• No profiles of students.

Legal basis

We process submissions to provide the service you request, and technical data for our legitimate interest in keeping the service secure and available.

Student work

Teachers and institutions who upload student work are responsible for having the right to do so under their school’s rules. Because we do not store submissions, we cannot retrieve or delete a past upload: there is nothing kept to delete.

Processors

Vercel Inc. (website hosting) and Supabase Inc. (analysis function), both acting on our instructions. Data may be processed in the United States and the European Union.

Your rights

You can ask us what data we hold about you, and ask for correction or deletion, by emailing us. Depending on where you live you may also complain to your data protection authority.
